Trauma Adaptation Profile™

The Trauma Adaptation Profiles aren’t built to correct, but to decode. They ask: what habits and behaviors are protecting us?

The TAP-Profile™ model helps us trace patterns back to their origins. Common struggles are seen as survival signatures, not signs of defect. We follow the threads of adaptation instead of cutting them off. To discover that the self isn’t disordered, it’s loyal.

There are two levels of the TAP-Profile.

On the first level are The TAP Self-Reflection Quiz and the TAP-Pathways —designed for general educational use and personal insight. These are available without clinical supervision with the understanding that neither should serve as the sole basis for clinical decision-making.

The second level contains the Trauma Adaptation Profiles (TAP-LF and SF)™ used clinically to identify and target trauma patterns. These assessments are currently in beta validation. Until validation is complete, these instruments are administered and interpreted only by a licensed mental health professionals.

The TAP-Profiles™ are proprietary assessment tools developed by Janet E. Lapp, PhD. They are designed for educational and clinical support purposes only, not as diagnostic instruments or as substitutes for formal psychological evaluations or clinical diagnoses. Results are intended to deepen self-awareness and support therapeutic exploration, never to replace the judgment of a trained professional.
